Comment: I did have had no idea about the word “holon”
before listening to this 3-track issue but now I guess it might mean something
related to very broken rhythms involving glitches, dub and techno vibes the
course glides along at. On the other side, those cut-up and sliced sequences
are wrapped up in atmospheric clouds thereby relieving the harsh side of the
first mentioned mishmash. If to analyse the self-titled track one could
perceive subtle techno pebbles, IDM infused melodies and Kraftwerk-esque
robot/techno pop flickers which used to extract from the middle of a blanket of
the aforesaid elements. One could perceive different facets of electronic and
(cerebral) dance music tendencies which eventually will result in a playful,
brain-teasing outing. It is one of the best issues having produced in the
previous year. The only shortage of the issue is this is way too short. The
issue is a part of the discography of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US-based imprint Bleepsequence.
