Igavesest Linnast pärit produtsendi 3-looline taies on igati hea põrke ja hingamisega. See muusika on tehnopopp, ent olemata juustune või limane popptehno. Muusika, mis immanentselt võrsub Saksa krautroki motoorsusest, tõstes selle kuulsusrikka traditsiooni minimaalse tehno, masinliku elektro ning sündiküllase tantsupungi vahendusel tänapäeva. Praegu Berliinis resideeruv roomlanna on vahetanud kunagi rokkbändides mängitud instrumentaariumi plaadimasinate ja muu elektroonika vastu, ent tollane mässulisus ja vaib toidab ka praegu tema helikeelt. Ütleme nii, et punk- ja mürarohkest rokkmuusikast õhkuv käredus on taandatud hüpnootilistesse rütmidesse -- selle lumm kasvab välja vaevumärgatavalt nihestatud sekventsidest ning helielementide kokku- ja lahku kasvamisest; intensiivsuse lisamisest ning korduste ja minimaalsete muutuste vastasmõjus avaldub psühhedeelne rütmikeere. Sinna peale ja ümber on lisatud maitsekalt (lisa)efekte. Nimiloos kandvat rolli etendav vokaal on meeldivalt resigneerunud ning loos "Fakeness" omandab vokaal kergelt ähvardava alatooni. Ei suuda kuidagi tuvastada 18-minutilise taiese loomisaastat, ent tulemus ei olegi siin aja(stu)truu. 8.5 (8.0-9.0)

Comment: Franco Barletta aka Enkil is a musician with the rock music background, however, who discovered the world of electronic music/analogic synth for approximately 13 years ago. He has issued 4 outings under Teque-Nique so far. Evolution consists of three compositions (Kimika, Hypnotic State, Evolution). Roughly it is a blend of psychedelic techno and tekno and trance propulsions, alarm-alike synth wobbling and bold synth threads and some glistening ambient textures. By historical influences in music one could hear electronic body aesthetic and pathos coming out of those exuberant, solid synth developments. Eventually it could be admitted it is a solid exertion reflecting upon the solid genre.

Comment: Donuiéstar is an artist from Brussels, Belgium whose 3-bar issue is hinged on his compatriots` glorious coldwave, EBM and minimal synth tradition harking back to the end of the 70s/beginning of the 80s, though the musician presents it in a more contemporary and diversified form. It is filled with brisk yet chill synth hooks being in turn boosted up with murky industrial music and hollow dark wave/goth fuelled reverberations thereby giving possibility for more detailed elements and minutiae to be surfaced. For instance, the opener Dark Wonder is about to bristle with a ring reminiscent of mechanical sound of the movie camera. It could say these solid compositions are composed to arouse your sensations in your soul and set up your body to take on nervous dance-alike movements. Of course, the listener should take care of to discern subtle relation between the main lines and their subsidiary ones. Additionally, let`s discover the music on the Teque-Nique imprint.
