Comment: what else I could say but this 4-track issue is today as relevant as it was 12 years ago while being released on Midinette Records. Catchy punk inflected electro pop propulsions and atmospheric upper layers entering into outer space are densely mixed up vowel effects and phrase repeating and singing in French. There can be drawn parallels upon the contemporary likes of Fischerspooner, Felix da Housecat, and Miss Kittin but the influences seem to hark back to 70s pop electronic examples like Space, Ganymed, and Giorgio Moroder as well. Because of that it can be said the set is ageless.

Comment: Tend My Sheep is a second part of the twin issue with In Hiding by the Chicago, Illinois, US-based songwriter Bryyn who has been active since the end of the previous decade. Similarly to In Hiding it embraces cloudless dreams through volatile and dynamic folk progressions yet the difference is sporadically based on more rough and art pop/rock-oriented dodges (and many greyish tones between the styles). Furthermore, it involves more naked (i.e set apart from the rest of particular tracks) and rough electronic developments which seemed to be more integrated on the twin issue. Yet it is not an adverse (i.e disintegrated in the sense of losing its cohesion) aspect by evaluating the issue. Wig on His Head is apparently the most prominent example of how electronic and atmospheric appearances will stepwise take over the course within a track. Bryn Martin shows up his mastermind to have created another gem. It`s deep and entertaining at the same time. Lord have mercy on me as he used to sing at You Are Alive. Indeed, one can agree with him.

Comment: Drew Miller aka Brother Saturn has created a thread of fabulous albums over the years. Miller has done it with his guitars and electronic devices which have chimed like a dreamy move over imaginable terrains. I Am A Ghost is different yet still the same. You can hear those extended chords and undulating drones at different speeds searching for a space rocket to start it up with lucid dreams and previously inexperienced transcendental beauty. Even if you have heard something like that by him before it still will seduce one's senses. On the other side, I can hear more crispy sounds within the 10-notch album with regard to the rhythms and chord progressions. There are represented pitched-up whistling noises within some chords and glitched-out cadences. That's wondrous and otherworldly. And there is up one enchanting spoken word track. It is not surprising at all – the space rocket has already reached the distance a millions of miles away from Earth. One of the best glimpses from the year of 2017.
