Tommy Cash – Euroz Dollaz Yeniz (2014)

/Hip-hop, Rap, Sampledelic, Urban music, Experimental-hop, Witch-hop/

Comment: Tommy Cash is one of the most beloved and intriguing hip-hoppers/rappers from Estonia whose debut album Euroz Dollaz Yeniz is replete with disparate hooks and gears but anyway the 9-track issue`s core deviates from the ordinary hip-hop album due to exploiting ominous witch house/drag house tectonic bass sequences and Death Grips and Dälek influenced spaced-out delays and noisy echoes coming out of it. On the other side, Tommy Cash`s chanting is coated with an exotic timbre and accent which do embellish his buffoonish singing style which might seem a little bit over the top at first glance. But please stay patient  – you will get used to and at least you feel it is a natural thing on its own. Additionally I recommend pick up another Estonian hip-hop musician with similar aesthetic approach and range – rin la.
